Asian Fusion Restaurant- Mamagoto

Mamagoto is one of the well-known Asian restaurants. This is about the outlet in express avenue mall. It was decorated with colourful and funky posters. The ambience and aroma was welcoming and gave cheerful vibes. This was my first visit to mamagoto. I went with my friends, it’s fun Asian eating where there is fusion food. They serve Chinese, Thai, fresh juices and desert. It attracts people who love Asian food and are up for some fusion. It was pretty much filled on a Saturday afternoon, not many tables were vacant.

The minute we were seated on our table, the menu was provided which was bigger in size than any of the menus I had ever seen. We ordered old school Gyoza veg dumplings and pan fried black bean chicken noodles. It took way too long than expected until we were served food, maybe it was because of the crowd. But the food was delivered after a long time, we became quite restless. On the brighter side it gave us time to chat and catch up. The music which they played was quite entertaining and lightened the mood. The food was served. It looked pleasing and delicious.

“Looks can be deceiving”, it applies for food too. The dumplings looked beautiful but tasted very bad. It was burnt and you could taste the burnt flavor while eating. It was definitely not worth the price.

On the contrary, the noodles was better than the dumplings.Infact, it was delicious and had rich flavours. The noodles was very tasty after the dumplings we had. It was full of flavors and the chicken was beautifully cooked. The mix of black bean noodles and the chicken was mouthwatering.

The quantity was suffice to fill 2 stomachs. It was quite over-priced because the food that they served was not up to the mark and didn’t deserve to be so expensive. Overall, there is scope for improvement and it would be better if the waiters were more attentive and if the food could be served a little sooner.
